It’s his business and his opinion on what kind of women he likes and quite frankly, yes, it needs to be said because let’s face it: the media, the runways, the billboard ads all sell the exact opposite message — one of supremacy that condenses the definition of beauty into a monolothic category that, majority of the time, belongs to people of Caucasian descent. So no, he isn’t being racist, he’s spitting his opinion and I applaud his message fully. Same goes towards any other women of “ethnic” (for lack of a better and less-imperialistic-condescending word) women.

Everytime I’m about to read one of your blog posts I’m like “oohhh shit what’s she gunna say? Are our opinions gunna clash? Will it be knowledgeable and forward thinking?” And when they do clash (rarely) you always put forward a good insightful opinion about your position, and when they don’t clash (almost all the time) I’m like “Ahh, Thank god there’s someone who shares my opinion, I must not be insane if its crossed more than one persons mind”

You are not the little retard.
You are not the little retard of the group. The way they treat you is actually insensitive and you don’t deserve it. Just because you don’t get grades as high as they do, or you have some troubles, doesn’t mean they have the right to treat you differently. You’re not beneath them. You getting into a university doesn’t make it bad, doesn’t make it sub-par and it certainly shouldn’t be thought that way. You’re achievements should be recognised equally.
You’re different from them and instead of accepting you, they just treat you like your beneath them. I won’t stand for it, it’s not right. You deserve a better quality of friend and you deserve to be treated right. Getting used to it isn’t the answer, ever. You have to Stand Up, and Speak Out. Because your voice is important too.
